Constructor's Note
This one is my first attempt at a Sunday-sized crossword. Comments and constructive criticism are certainly appreciated, and as always, happy solving!

Loved the theme entries and clues, and a fun solve overall! Outstanding first "attempt" at a 21x21 — I can't even aspire to that yet.
The revealer felt a little off because the theme entries are acrosses. Also the fill was clean but felt rather vanilla, maybe because it was all pretty short.
Some tweaks and I think this definitely could be publishable!

Thanks for the solve and critique (you're too kind, really)! Just one clarification: when you say the revealer felt a little off because the themed entries are across, do you mean the revealer should be down? (And if so, why?)
I agree about the fill -- honestly, the challenge for me was just filling the darn thing in a way that wasn't atrocious. (More of a nightmare than I'd originally anticipated!) I'll definitely try longer entries on my next go at it.
Thanks again for going through the puzzle and for your kind words, it means a lot!

Happy to! I think the revealer is close but not exactly what’s going on in the theme entries (just from my perspective).
