I love 2 word clues. Thanks! Good first puzzle, actually, pretty hard, I had to reveal some clues. I have a "puzzle theme" in my backyard and on my forearm. Love it. Make another!
Thank you for solving, for your encouraging words, and all your great puzzles!
The step up in the cluing load from a 5x5 mini to a full-size 15x15 shouldn't have been surprising, but it was! The two-word clue constraint is a great exercise, and helped me get it over the finish line, but I think some definitely ended up too hard as a result.

Lovely puzzle! Very well done with the theme and two word clue constraint too, it all felt pretty fair. I learned RADLER (I've only known that as a shandy)
Me too! I think SHANDY is the anglophone term and RADLER is more German/Swiss/Continental.

42A seems like it needs a plural (the u perdu not withstanding)…does it? Maybe French is friendly to leaving a noun in the singular in a case like this. Anyway, cool puz
Thank you! (I feel like someone has posted one here, and I vaguely remember one in the NYT once… did someone also do an emoji-only clue puzzle?)

This was challenging! And great job on the two word clues...I believe it's the first time I've ever seen that done. Tricky crosses for me at 27D/47A and 15D/24A. I was wondering if Moses' mountain should be SINAI and not ARARAT...? (I hope my comments aren't irritating, Sendhil! A question: have you found being on Crosshare to be helpful?)
Thanks for making your way through the archives… sorry there are some definite rough spots in here! Great point on 2D — will reclue that now. And I appreciate all your comments, not irritating at all!
I first found Crosshare super fun to provide a wide, wide range of puzzles, from constructors with diverse voices, all in one place, with an easy and smooth solving interface.
Then I started dipping my toe in constructing and it's been very easy to practice, get encouragement, and get helpful feedback. And it's a nice community!
