      Could you explain 38 down?
      • Jake A constructor · 2021-02-17T15:27:25.490Z
Sure! 38D asks in archaic terms for Robert Burns’s birthplace. Burns was born in Alloway, AYR, Scotland. Alloway is a village that has long essentially been part of the adjacent & principal settlement (city), AYR. Alloway was incorporated into the Royal Burgh of AYR in 1935.

Nice one! I had a learning experience on 9 down Re. Oysterhead. I'm an old (yeah) Grateful Dead head and really love Phish, but so far Oysterhead has gone under my radar, thanks for that. One small note, on 37 down, "Sucessor" is missing a "c" 🤐 🙊 😀 Thanks for a great puzzle!

Thanks, Kent! I'm sure you are going to dig Oysterhead. I had a lot of fun seeing the Dead and Phish over the years, but have not seen Oysterhead live. That would be just a killer show. And thanks for the note; I am new to construction and am happy to receive all feedback!
