Once the grid is filled, one word from each of the first three corners of the grid will form a clue to the meta answer, which is snaking through the fourth grid (only up, down, left, right: no diagonals). This is exactly how the WaPo mini metas work, so I'd recommend going there first if you're confused.

Final correct answer should be HAPPY MEALS PLACE: McDonald's. Unfortunately, I have no way of giving you live feedback like WaPo does, but I do those puzzles on Pro mode so this is more authentic to my experience anyway.
Thanks! As I said, I can't take credit, it's a near-exact copy of Washington Post's Daily Mini Meta series, but I had fun making it and I'm glad you liked it!
I like the WAPO minis, but wait until Saturday to play the whole week. Thank you for creating it in this format. It works. By the way, if you get to McDonald’s as the meta answer, you clearly got there by grabbing the correct words from the first three puzzles. No need to prove it.
