        Cute theme--"also mediums" very clever! The double plural in "spiceslevels" is the biggest issue, I think it ought to be spice levels but then it doesn't fit. Mostly Monday-level cluing but some tricky ones too! Funny yesterday's Sunday NYT xword just had a shout out to that Dexy's midnight runners song too

          Fun overall, and a clever theme! Some entries seemed a bit rough (36D stuck out even more than 58A).

            Definitely. 36D was quite a bit "try hard" on my side and I could and have worded it better. Also I felt lost on how to express that one. And 58A, don't get me started. That one was a big fail, especially for trying to follow my theme and the way I worded it. Learning experience! Thank you Sendhil, I love your input. Helps me greatly.
