  Good puzzle! Slightly thrown by 2D using S as an abbreviation for SAINTS rather than ST or STS, but a fun solve regardless!

    Thanks! I was discarding two esses and was looking for something I had not yet used. “Saints” fit the bill nicely and has historical reference. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
