  Barred cryptics are the best cryptics! I like 5A and 7A a lot. The connector in 2D is very sneaky, though I'm not sure the clue is technically an &lit to deserve that exclamation mark...

    It's true - I like to play around with punctuation sometimes, and use ! in a similar way to ? in some circumstances, though it's still mainly an experiment.

    Glad you enjoyed 5A, that's the one I'm proudest of (even though it's quite easy). I've not seen that particular mechanism for an indicator used before (though I'm sure it's out there)
