  Nice one! Challenging at first but the pieces finally began to fall into place. Still a little unsure of 1A - I get PUN for wordplay, but not sure how the S should be derived? But thanks!

  "prepper" is not a common term in the UK. "claims" does not appear in any of my lists of container/hidden word indicators.
