Very impressive grid, especially the long entries! The unfamiliar short entries (for me, 17A, 18A, 26A, 49A, and 55A all fall in this category) were the price to pay, I guess. I finished the puzzle, but I wonder if it were possible to clean up the fill a bit more, or if more “gimme” cluing on the really unusual entries might make the puzzle a bit more widely solvable.
