The seeds for this puzzle should be pretty apparent from the cover pictures. I may have erred with my black square placement, so I appreciate both your patience and your feedback (and especially any advice on how to improve it). Hope you (still) enjoy!

      thanks for the puzzle! i agree--the black square placement made the fill a bit rough. 8 (!!) intersecting spanners is really tough to do, especially with two of them being seed entries. ABTHROW made me laugh with how the clue was worded, and RPE also gave of ettu etui vibes haha
