The answer to the meta is a seven word phrase suggested by the grid
Aussie Steve Bradbury was the the first man to cross the line following a pile-up in the 1,000m short-track speed skating final at the Olympic Winter Games Salt Lake City 2002. He'd been in last place for most of the race. But when the other four crashed on the very last turn he managed to avoid them all, thus securing a famous victory, and Australia's first Winter Olympics gold medal ever. Can you do the same with this crossword? The answer to the meta is a seven word phrase suggested by the grid. Answer and explanation: https://www.xword-muggles.com/viewtopic.php?t=1237&p=70868#p70868
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here: https://www.ephesusscroll.com/about/interest4.html. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Very clever! I wonder if you hadn't highlighted SNATCH and JAWS if it might have made it more challenging... still, great meat/construction.
That was the one thing I wasn't sure about! I wanted the puzzle to be solvable, but by highlighting those two entries, it makes it possible to guess the answer outright, thereby missing the fun stuff. Once the week is over, I will edit these two clues and take out the hints!
Of course, you are totally right; and if you use milk the TIMTAM lasts much longer. But there is something magical about that delicious combination of coffee and chocolate!
