For this mini, the middle square is a black hole that removes all the vowels that would normally be included along the shaded cells. 3-Down and 7-Across pass over and continue on the other side of the black hole, all of the inner contents being replaced with said space. These two clues also have a subclue, which is an anagram for the contents replaced with the black hole space (the vowel ignoring rule is exempt for this substition). The two answers in full are the answers to the meta puzzle. Clues around the black hole area have provided lengths in order to assist in figuring out the answers.
