  Took me a bit, too, on 3D, with the same result -- nice one. Why the * for 1A? Why "slightly" in 1A?

    I use * to represent anagrams. I thought it would be funny to let solvers know it was only a slight anagram.

  At first, I worried about 3D because I was also stuck on 2D; then I realized it wouldn't just be a cross-reference, and hit on the 2-D meaning. Very nice! I also understood why you used the word "slightly"—it's unnecessary, but I do like the surface sense of it, so I wouldn't fight the inclusion. (If anything, it makes the clue a bit trickier, which is fine by me, since the anagram is so direct.) 4A's use of "waste" is also very nice, and yeah, Myers has mostly wasted his talent doing the voice of an animated green ogre.

  Nice. I think 2D's my favourite here (although I'm sure the past tense for "broadcast" is just "broadcast".)
