    I was just thinking about this phrase (which popped back up to me from the elementary school recesses of memory) yesterday… as snow was pelting me in the face two days after the “start of spring” in Chicago!

      Similar story here in MA - I woke up with the idea this morning when I looked out the window and saw a tinge of snow on the lawn, after a couple of weeks of springlike weather. Sometimes I wonder if the saying should be reversed.
      PS - I very much enjoyed your Boswords amuse bouche and featured solve and chat a few weeks ago!
