    Certainly! 8A is an absolute mess of abbreviations: (power=RIGHT)+(Tesla=T)+(old=O)+(voltage=V)+TO<+(energy=E) for "franchise" 12A (set up=ERECT) with (right=R) becoming (left=L) for "what's done with the right to vote"

      Thanks; I saw right-to-left as a reversal indicator. Not sure that it works as a replacement indicator.

    Thanks, Nate! That's very flattering. I'm pushing my comfort zone by attempting longer words while maintaining (mostly) sensical surfaces. I'm glad to hear it's not complete nonsense! Stay tuned for more 11x11 in the future :)

    P.S. I thought your double definition puzzle from last week was absolutely brilliant, despite being nearly impossible I'd like to see another if you've got it in you!

  P.S. just to add to the discussion, personally I don’t have any issue with “right-to-left” as a replacement indicator in the way you’ve used it, so probably just down to preference. I’ve also seen “changing sides” used for the same effect (R—>L and L—>R)
