Not my best work, but better poorly made than not made at all
For those who don't get the theme: each of the starred entries is a "combo" of two types of game -- e.g. CARD game and BOARD game, or WAR game and VIDEO game.

      (The grid, as in black squares, seemed a bit rough, but otherwise I thought it was a fun solve — good theme and smooth cluing with some clever ones!)

        fun take on the theme! had some problems in the middle south with the MOM part of LOVEMOM and OIC, but the rest of the fill was pretty good!
