Great tribute! Also, I love how you break symmetry sometimes when it serves the puzzle. What's your take on it? I never totally got behind the symmetry convention--it seems so arbitrary to me. There must be many fun ideas wasted because of it!
Glad you appreciated it! I think I'm more committed to symmetry and traditional conventions the larger the grid gets. With a mini, every square matters so much more, especially if you want the fill to be clean. Ultimately, you're your own editor for these puzzles, so you make the rules!
That makes sense--the larger it is, the more a grid could benefit from constraints. Still skeptical about symmetry as a requirement for mainstream puzzles though. These asymmetrical ones are a breath of fresh air!
