Sure You Can?

My first attempt at grid art (and a half-assed pun). Really, I just wanted to put my knowledge of feudal Japanese history to decent use. For the record, about 2D: for one leader it's his first name, and for the other it's his family name. (Maybe I don't need to explain that, but since Wikipedia lists Japanese names in the Western order, I figured someone else might also be confused.)
