Cryptic: Kingdom

◆◆ · Por wisprabbit · Publicado 2022-11-30T12:55:19.967Z

Constructor's Note
A themed cryptic crossword (although it's not heavily themed, and you don't have to spot the theme to solve the crossword).
I like 25A the most in this crossword. I've read some tweets just like it.
I post crosswords and logic puzzles on my Twitter: https://twitter.com/wisprabbit

Initially had TERAFLOP for 12A, and there's a part of me that wants to argue that folks could conceivably be using "Tera" for emphasis the same was as "Mega".

Thanks for solving! You might be right - I think "mega" is a more natural pull but it's not unambiguous, and it doesn't help that the letters in question aren't checked. I'll have to think a little harder about this.

Well, I don't think anybody actually does this so much as I wanted my first idea to be right, although I amused myself imagining teenagers gushing "that's tera-awesome!" at something.
