It's mid-winter down under, and that means it's time for Christmas in July! You have no idea how strange it is to sing winter-related songs in December when it is 40 degrees in the shade (and that's 40 degrees Celsius, which is 104 degrees Fahrenheit!) So it has become a bit of a thing for Aussies to celebrate Christmas in July, when it's cold, so as to properly enjoy all of the yummy Christmassy food and drink (like hot buttered rum, or mulled wine). So dig in, in order to find the answer to the meta which is a seasonal song. Answer and explanation here: https://www.xword-muggles.com/viewtopic.php?p=100812#p100812
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here: https://www.ephesusscroll.com/about/interest4.html. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

There must be gaping holes in my cultural awareness. I figured this one out without using the phrase at 20A because that one is completely new to me. Its definition says it’s a common internet phrase, so maybe that’s the problem… I just need to spend more time on the internet! ha ha ha (or LOL for the internet crowd). Thanks for the breath of winter air on this sweltering day!

Yoomy both, Younmee both. I got this by the Tyger burning bright in the forests "of the night" (He wanted of the night?) For a little while I thought "but there are only two themers" and "mare night feul"? but I saw the "Fly By" and figured "well nightmare is a word....." and that's enough.

Very nice! Thanks, Ben! Though I can’t even think of Christmas right now. Today, here in Michigan, it’s an almost perfect summer day, doing your puzzle on the back deck.
Yes, you can definitely solve this one using just the three long answers. But those additional six entries are the icing on the cake. Actually, if you convert "1001" from binary you get "9" and there are, in fact, 9 silent nights in the puzzle!
"An image that you just know is going to give you nightmares." Google "nightmare fuel" and then click on the Images tab. Actually, don't.

Ho ho ho! Thanks, Ben

Fun puzzle, solving which resulted in a meta trifecta for me today. And so I'll be thinking of you when I have my hot cocoa tonight at the muggles Zoom.
That only made it into the puzzle when "IOOI" showed up in the fill! Glad it helped, though.

Fun one Ben, I really did try to overthink it. Should have gone with my gut because I thought at first “hmmmm Night came up twice implicitly (or silently?”. I was soooo dense that I did not go back and add it to stand, mare and good-DOH!
