    some pretty niche vocabulary in here! is there more to the theme I'm not picking up on, besides the nintendo characters in the theme entriew?

      I would also say that the themers were a bit obscure (to me!) -- I had to reveal them. Which is fine depending on your audience but probably a bit too obscure for publication.

        This is a really great first attempt!
        Here are a couple of points of feedback. The themers should be more consistent (so the Mario Kart ref should be either first or last, not a mix).
        I like that you had 9D included that goes along with the theme, I do think it would have benefited from a revealer (though I see you kind of do in the title)!
        I would also suggest from a construction standpoint, you may find it easier if you create more distance between the themes lines. I would have had 12 letter themers on the 3rd/12th across lines and the 13 letter ones closer to the middle. That’ll make it easier to fill too.
        Keep on constructing - you’ll improve :-)
