Thanks for a lovely puzzle. I'm uncertain about CGI as a synonym for "organic"; is it stretched too far?

Thank you! My thought process behind the corgi clue is that you take "organic without an" so removing "an" from "organic" we get "orgic", and alternative indicates we anagram "orgic" to get "corgi". It is a two step anagram though which I shall try to avoid in future puzzles.

Thanks for the reply - it makes perfect sense! It's a really clever clue. I read it as a synonym for "organic" without (container indicator) OR as a synonym for "an alternative". I looked up CGI Green, a company producing organic products. Obviously I read the clue incorrectly.
