      Hmm, that would be more like a semi &lit clue, but that's the opposite - all definition, some wordplay. You could always add a question mark to indicate something funny is going on, or duplicate the definition, eg: "Street hiker's out ... out!"

      There's nothing wrong with bucking conventions, but it makes things harder for solvers.
