  Only clue I have a comment about is 20D… feels close to a dupe. Some two-word ideas I saw used in prior NYT puzzles:

  • Dog command (or trainer's command, or using a proper name for the dog, or "Lab order?")
  • Be idle, do nothing, gather dust, go nowhere, go unused
  • Model (for)
  • Get comfortable (never used exactly this way)
