Really enjoyed this. My only critique is that the fill at 19-A and 21-A could have been clued more accessibly without bringing down the difficulty, which the rest of the grid balances very fairly. Looking forward to solving more of your work!

Fun, thank you! Loved 1A/64A. (And I can't believe 1A took me so long; I was just in Louisville!)

        good puzzle
Confused by 52A / 55A. clues dont seem to agree/ also, technically Louis XV is cognac...

Thanks for solving! The cross-reference is between 53 and 55 Across, which should help. The second Louis XV refers to the king, part of the Bourbon Dynasty.

thanks for the interesting puzzle! the pairing of 1A and 64A is very clever!
if I may, I'd like to suggest cluing BMI with reference to something other than "fitness", which it definitely does not measure. what it does measure is the ratio between a person's height and their weight -- which means an extremely fit, muscular person could easily be classed as "obese", and an extremely unfit, thin person as "normal".

Very good point, suggestion taken moving forward (alas, it's the kind of fill that serves a purpose every once in a while). Thanks for solving!
