nice! love the minitheme. great clue on FOAM as well! the double I part of ETALII was pretty tricky--thought i had something wrong there the whole time haha

I had the opposite problem, wondering what I had wrong when suddenly I realized it might be ET ALII instead of ET ALIA

      Love the clue for FOAM.

I always screw up ET ALII- I swear, it always has to go in as ET ALIA first. Along with ELIA KAZAN, who I'm eternally convinced is called ELIE until the crosser forces me to realize that I have, yet again, screwed his name up. There's just something about the II/IA endings that I can't wrap my brain around.

I agree… "Latin be weird" would be my summary :)

Never heard of 13-A, which slowed me down a little owed to the validity of multiple last letters at 4-D - guess I have some research to do!

Thanks for solving! I was worried it was too misdirective (since back in the day Garmin mainly made GPS devices and navigation stuff for boats and such) so this is helpful feedback… I'm constantly missing the too-tough crossings! More practice needed. (I wish there was a way that construction software gave you a lens into clue difficulty as well as fill score… then one could highlight entries that are hard, and see intersecting hard slots.)
