In cricket, if the batsman hits the ball over the boundary of the cricket ground without the other team managing to catch or stop it, then they score points. If they hit it over the boundary but it's touched the ground before it gets there, they score four points, and this is called a FOUR. If they manage to hit it outside the pitch boundary WITHOUT it touching the ground, then they score six points, and this is called a SIX.
