Use the rebus function to enter 1, 2, or 3 letters per square. Inspired by Games Magazine’s “One, Two, Three” Puzzles. Had a lot of fun with this one, please enjoy!

That was a workout! (I had to look up 7D, and given that this was so challenging, I had put SEL for 4A rather than the much more sensible NORWAY. Also multiple checks, though I was able to get there without any reveals.) Thanks for the challenge — look forward to more!

Fun punchline for a very overworked clue in normal crosswords. These 1-2-3 puzzles add a great dimension to small crosswords, where you still have to put in work for a clue you know the answer to
I'll have to concede that I looked up 7D (and embarrassingly, both forgot how Little Red Hen went and forgot how to spell ARRIVAL)

This was a fun one! I remember, when I was younger, also having a book filled with puzzles like these (that book has seen quite better days) - loved these kinds of puzzles, even if I have a hard time getting through them!
