Meta Prompt
The meta answer is a seasonal greeting.
I first wrote this sweet meta back in 2019 - one of my earliest puzzle attempts, but still one of my favorites. Resharing it here for reasons that will become apparent. I would call it a week 3 or 4 on the Gaffney scale, especially because it requires a certain amount of specific linguistic knowledge. The meta answer is a seasonal greeting.
Hint 1: Pay attention to the beginnings of the starred answers.
Hint 2: The title suggests how you should read the meta answer.
Hint 3: Check the calendar!

Challenging meta! Had to Google my way through... had a feeling we were doing R->L Hebrew, but I'm completely not familiar with the full names of the Hebrew letters, so I wasn't getting the full connection there- but it sort of looked like L'Shana Tova might be right, in a mishmash/anagrammy sort of way.

Tough all the way through, but rewarding. Thanks so much. All of the theme clues are unspecific, so I was sure you were going for things like QUICKSILVER, PAINTBRUSH, GABLE, ABDICATOR, SPITFIRE, STARSHIPS, VOTING, ... and then I couldn't find famous alternative suggestively-named mountain ranges :-) so I uncovered the clues and was glad I did!
