Took me a while to figure out that each of the theme entries swapCtter! Nice one

Loved the rebuses! I live about 10 miles from CMMA.

Small world! By any chance, do you also construct meta puzzles? We are always looking for meta constructors over at https://www.xword-muggles.com/

Very clever! I didn't get the theme until well after I was done solving. (FYI tiny typo in clue to 5A.)

Fixed the typo. Thanks for catching that!

I'd recommend adding the SALE rebuses as an alternate solution :)

I wasn't sure if that made sense, since it only applied to the crosses. But I think you're right. (Also, I can never remember how to work the alternate answer controls for rebuses. But I just remembered that I wrote it down last time!) Thanks for the push to make this change!

Oof! This one was a slog for me. I didn’t get the SALE/SAIL homophone til way late and also couldn’t get it to solve with the revised until I eventually figured out I had to just put “C” in. Kept trying to fit NEOCLASSICAL or NEOCLASSIC for the domes. You should turn on alternate solutions for the rebuses. Probably a super fun puzzle and it’s just me having an off night!

It's not you, it's me 😁. I think this is one of those puzzles where the solving experience doesn't evoke a reaction of "aha that's clever!" so much as "ugh, this feels like homework". I was hoping that the hint, the bigger hint, and the easy fill would smooth that out. But it seems like for a lot of people it was still (wait for it) rough seas.

I really enjoyed figuring this one out Wayne (didn't need the "bigger" hint). And Tracy and I were just in CMMA a couple weeks ago!
