I'll agree that 1D is great and, being a fan of the genre (I understand this would be very difficult for a non-gamer), 2D is very funny, especially considering that he's, like, the ne plus ultra JRPG character, not an obscure one at all. I also liked 1A and 4A.
Constructively, 3D doesn't really mean much as a surface (and I think the spelling is "echoes") and I would 100% try to avoid grid fill like 5A, unless you're referencing someone well-known. A clue should, in theory, be solvable in either direction: "Girl" alone has too many possibilities.
