      I think if it's intended to be on the hard side, it was totally fair!
      The one tweak I'd recommend (perhaps just because that's where I got tripped up) is the cluing for 1D. The word comes from many different languages, but doner kebab specifically I think comes from Turkish and so is generally spelled KEBAB. Since you are using KABOB maybe change the clue to "Shish _____"?
