Construct a Puzzle

Pop the Question

By Ryan McCluskey · Published 18 days ago

My first attempt constructing a puzzle! Once I started writing the clues, I felt that my theme was a little shaky but I wanted to persist to the end for the experience. Any feedback or constructive criticism is appreciated... thanks!

I really enjoyed it Ryan! Congrats on publishing your first puzzle 🙌
Only improvement I can think of is that two of the themers use homophones (HYNDE and STARR) and two don't (BOWIE and APPLE). It didn't bother me at all but it might feel a bit tighter if they all matched.

Thanks for the feedback - I agree. I was having trouble coming up with four homophones and didn't want to abandon HYNDE. I wanted to get something down so I could practice the entire construction process. Appreciate you taking the time to solve!
