Take Back Your Words 1

Clues often require you to spell words backwards. This is usually clued by phrases like GOING BACK, RETURNING, AFTER REVOLUTION, SPINNING, TURNING, THE WRONG WAY and (if it's a down clue) UPSIDE DOWN, GOING UP, ON ITS HEAD etc. Sometimes it's a straightforward definition of the word that has to be spelled backwards (e.g. "Fish going down the wrong way for dwarf" (3) = COD the wrong way = DOC = one of the seven dwarves in the Disney version), sometimes it's another type of clue. (e.g. "Feline returning in magenta coat (3)" = magenTA Coat = TAC returning = CAT)
