Thanks! I really enjoyed this cryptic. I spent ages looking for a synonym for "seep"; how stupid of me! 17A had me scratching my head - I tend to use the "y" variant so wondered what SHIER meant; for me, yet another brain fart! Thanks again!

          14A and 21D don't have homophone indicators.

'seems to' and 'kind of'? not clear enough perhaps

I'd say 8A is missing a subject in its definition, so you should probably change that to "It can turn up"? Also, 1A and 10A use "gives" as an anagram indicator, which is pretty weak, since it doesn't really indicate any sense of chaos or rearrangement. I don't have suggestions for changes, but just keep in mind for future puzzles to check how well your indicators work. (It's often helpful to draw from examples, so here are some resources for wordplay indicators: https://www.crosswordunclued.com/2008/09/dictionary.html https://bestforpuzzles.com/cryptic-crossword-dictionary/)

8a .. should really be "(It) can be turned up" but that doesn't read so well. I'll maybe rethink that one. Point taken re "gives".
