    5A The clue is unclear about whether WARTS or STRAW is the solution.

      Thanks! WARTS is the solution. I led with the latin name and provided a comma to help separate it from the rest of the clue; I hoped the reverse “suck it” would get people to STRAW reversed to WARTS. How would you edit the clue to make it clearer?
