      Some entries cross other entries that only differ by one letter (like NEARLY
      30A NEARLY"Close, but no cigar"
      and EARLY
      26D EARLYType of bird which gets the worm
      ), take that letter (in that case, the N). This happens 8 times across the grid. Anagram those letters to get the phrase EVIL TWIN

        Oh nice that is clever! I was focused on the "genetic" part of the title so was looking for entries with As Ts Gs and Cs or something 😂
