challenging but fun (as usual!) I couldn’t get the cryptic parts of 3d and 5d, what am i missing?

3D is D ("day") + RAGER ("a wild party") in reverse ("rose")
5D is a letter bank of GOES, i.e. using the letters of GOES ("to pieces") to make ("then builds") GOOSE EGG

That's what I was going for on both! letter banks are fun but come up so rarely that I'm never 100% sure I'm doing them right, glad it was clear

Always a welcome challenge on Sunday mornings. Two cocaine references are as effective as a third cup of coffee, too!

haha 20D was the last one I wrote and I didn't even realize I'd double-dipped on cocaine references until publishing

Unfortunately it's GROUNDHOG DAY not GROUNDHOG'S DAY... Other than that, quite enjoyable :)
