Very entertaining, but I had difficulty with:
24A I would have expected it to be hyphenated.
I am puzzled by the definitions in 9A and 20D.
Could you parse 29A, please?

9A is ||referencing a certain cartoon rabbit's culinary choices|| and 20D is ||perhaps a more anglicised term, but the last two words are the literal part||. Would gladly parse 29A if it existed! Did you mean something else?

Thanks for the explanations. I think I had difficulty with gubbins as I have always used it in the sense of "gadget".

ah! ||R for "random", AG as contents of PAGE, T for "this", and AG as contents of PAGE again. To mean "assorted". Hope that isn't too much of a liberty!||
