Reveal: The grid answers for the 7 starred clues are famous/semi-famous people with famous fathers. I know there could possibly be multiple answers, but these are the ones I went with: 1A LILY Collins (father is Phil), 16A MAYA and Ethan Hawke, 20A LAURA and Bruce Dern, 30A ZIGGY and Bob Marley, 34A ZOE and Lenny Kravitz, 47A EMMA and Eric Roberts, 51A LIV and Steven Tyler. If you take the first letter of the father's names in order, they spell PEBBLES whose father is FRED, FRED FLINTSTONE

You were right, I had to do a lot of googling. ZIGGY tripped me up since all the others were daughters and it's a name that could conceivably be a girl's.

Whoa, I didn't realize that Ziggy was the only son! I probably should have looked for another daughter.

Got the gist of the metanism, but had to give up because there were just too many possibilities. Great idea if you had a way to narrow the selection field. I did find the fathers for Lily, Zoe, Ziggy, and Liv (all in the music world) so I was getting there... Thanks, Lars.

You would have gotten there eventually. I knew this would be a tedious one. I did try to pick ones that were in the top three of a Google search. Thanks Darth!
