ENCLOSURES or CONTAINED CLUES are when the answer is found INSIDE one of the words in the clue, e.g. "Baby's bed is drowned in S[cot]ch (3)", or STRADDLING two or more words in the clue, e.g. "The beach found in Mark[s and S]pencer's"

This was good practice! The definition part of the clue was in middle of the clue for a couple of them, which confused me a lot. Most cryptics try to separate wordplay from definition so it's easier to read.
