I would like to get better at coming up with grid layouts, which is something I struggle with. This puzzle originated while tinkering with a grid pattern I found through a Google Image search. 28A came about via an auto-fill and I liked the idea of using the letters in that way. I also like 39A, which will be easy for solvers of a certain age group but possibly difficult for others. Overall, I was aiming for a Tuesday/Wednesday-ish difficulty level and I think I landed in that general area. - CD
