Constructor's Note
I've been solving a lot of cryptic lately and wanted to try my hand at writing one. This is my first attempt, so any constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the puzzle!

      I certainly can't parse that clue but how many words for colder can there possibly be that fit? I trust it makes sense

        ICI ("Here in France", as in the French translation for the word "here") + ER ("trauma center") = ("is") ICIER ("colder")
