Knapp-Daneben Crossword by Jack Lance (1997-2023)

Constructor's Note
Fill in the following crossword, such that each box has a letter filled in it by its across clue which is either directly after or before the letter filled in it by its down clue in the alphabet. Note that A is considered to “wrap around” to Z. I’ve given the grid twice, for convenience. (Use the left grid for the Acrosses and the right grid for the Downs.)
This puzzle was created in 2016 by the great Jack Lance, who died recently. I wanted to put it in a nicer crossword interface. So sorry to anyone who did this in the first seven hours; I copied the Down clues in the wrong order. I just edited it to be right, so hopefully it'll change soon.

I must not have refreshed after I took a break. I just left a comment about it.

I'm so sad to hear that he passed. He will be missed. His puzzlescript games are the best the engine has to offer.
Also, your down clues are in the wrong order as of my solve. Instead of repeating for each half, they're spread between them, i.e. 1122334455 instead of 1234512345.
