Flip the Script!

· By James Moir · Published 2024-11-14T15:00:19.187Z

Constructor's Note
Certain clues in this grid are split into two clues (indicated by a “|”). For these clues, you should enter into the grid the answer to the leftmost clue. The clue on the right is spelt out backwards in the same place- for example: AND -> | <- DNA, would leave “AND” on the grid, but if you were to flip the grid, you would see “DNA”. Also please appreciate the grid art which is an attempt at this symbol- 🔄
Thanks for playing! I love to see comments and feedback on my puzzles!

Very nice good sir! Glad to see semordnilap being used by someone else (made a puzzle of them a little while back)! Sad I got hung up on 43a

thank you! apologies about that clue, its a good semordnilap, but i think spacer is quite obscure :/

Think it was more on me not seeing it than the cluing. But it is the downside to unchecked squares, lol. If you’re stuck yah stuck

Also got stuck on that clue! That had to be left for last, but even with a while of thinking somehow the word never came to mind...

It's a bit late to point this out (sorry), but you do mean "Sodium" and not "Soduim" in 40-down, right? I don't usually proofread the Internet, but this is a bit too jarring in a puzzle which plays around with inverted letters...
