I love the theme! And this helped me: https://www.dictionary.com/e/nym-words/.
I liked many/most clues, esp. 5D, 16A.
I needed your link to figure out how a few worked.
I didn't like the double wordplays (9A, 4D, maybe another couple, maybe arguably); cryptic rules I learned frown on those.
Clues that reference other clues also feels poor form to me, but I think it works OK mostly in this one (except 14D). Might be better using the referencing formatting built into this website (e.g., in this comment).
Generally a positive for me, and quite happy seeing how you worked so many nyms with differing clues into it!
You can also use features of this website to include the explanations here.
Thanks for this. I have rewritten several clues since I posted this but am not sure what the etiquette here is --- can I just edit or should I delete and repost? As I continue to touch this up, I'll keep your comments in front of me.
All updates from comments I've seen on this site (including ones by me!) have been edits to the original, not delete and repost. Like they're works-in-progress, not finished products. Somewhere there's a description of the markup language you can use on this site to include the explanations in the comments.
In the comments, if you put something between double bars (||) like this hidden it's hidden till clicked with the cursor. You can use that to hide the explanation: 9ASilly [=anagrammed] silly [="inane"] orphan girl].
Your comments won't show till the solver solves.
