    PIANO means softly in music notation I believe. I'm not sure what you mean by a more specific clue. But glad you liked the puzzle

  I really enjoyed solving this! As someone who lives in a Great Lake State, I was stoked to see that come out as the theme :) enjoyed all the cluing. I noticed a few that reference a “disc” and a few that use “soft”, was this purposeful? A mini theme throughout the clues?
