        Thanks Sam! Congratulations. I had a lot of fun solving this puzzle. I'm embarrassed to admit that I was absolutely stumped by 6A -- I couldn't get "dividend" out of my head! What a great clue. Can't wait to give your other cryptics a go :)

              I had difficulty with 8D: is "Emancipate" a valid synonym for UNBRAID? Advise please: is NB an abbreviation for "non-binary"? I don't have it in any of my resources.

                I found emancipate as a top synonym of unbraid on thesaurus.com, and was also a little skeptical to be honest. I double-checked on Merriam Webster and it doesn't have that as a synonym though, so maybe it wasn't the best pick.
                Yes, NB is a common abbreviation for nonbinary, particularly as shorthand for a nonbinary person
