Cryptic Practice | Speaking in Code

This puzzle heavily uses the NATO phonetic alphabet, it's best to be somewhat familiar with it before proceeding. This puzzle is also meant to be more of a practice (see title) so the clues are probably a little obvious for now. I tried to play around a little, so be wary of some fakeouts!
