Tough! I can understand most of these now, but needed to check my working a few times.

16a, I'm not sure that "Physicists" = "Cern" - there's a lot of them there, but "Doctor" isn't synonymous with "hospital".

I don't get 26a at all, except for the definition.

4d, I see that "Uranium" is "aim, run, u (for university)" anagrammed, but there's a "to" in the middle of the fodder, which threw me all the way off.

5d, does "hic" mean "to repeat"? I can't see how.

6d, similarly, does "genic" mean having inside information?

8d, "the" June?

19d: "Took in" can't really mean "appended". Maybe "leads to"?

16a ok, it’s a tough one but maybe not unheard of as a concept to equate an institution with the people making it up 26a quartet is IV, 2nd of Beethoven is E. Prob not the best clue. 4d OK the idea is for one part to be appended “to” the other part. Misleading for sure but not unheard of 5d to repeat is also to hiccup, hence hic 6d GEN is info which is inside the other components. In charge is IC 8d my bad - a typo. Lemme fix. Thanks for picking that up. 19 took in stands for ATE in this clue
